Taylor desperately wants to flee this strange version of Heaven. Instead she’s stuck taking an endless series of quizzes in the Afterlife for Idiots Handbook and trying to get picked for the Cloud Nine Contest. If she wins the grand prize is to return to her old life.
But Taylor soon learns that her past held a secret. Will the secret destroy her chances of winning the contest?

She needs their help to fight the evil Palmer and his men who are determined to destroy Heaven. Before the big showdown between the rival factions begins, Taylor’s father sends her on a special mission-back home.

Taylor can’t help but wonder while she and her father are speeding through the universe risking their lives to discover new planets, will she ever see her boyfriend Ryan again?

Taylor, who is half alien, is living a normal life on Earth as a waitress in Bayou Oaks, Florida. She’s looking forward to a quiet month before Christmas, when she gets a call from her parents informing her they are getting married. She can’t believe at the age of twenty, her alien father, and her human mother, are finally tying the knot. The wedding is taking place on the beach where her father first landed on Earth. Her parents then break the news they are going to honeymoon on the distant planet, Veratious. Her dream of a lovely family Christmas together is shattered.
Taylor gets an invitation to join her parents for Christmas on the planet, but her gut tells her a long-ago nemesis will track her down if she goes back into space.
If she flies off to Veratious will Taylor even get the chance to celebrate Christmas?
